An End with A New Beginning
The last day of my craft class was “An end with a new beginning”
The whole idea of joining the craft class was to do something creative. And I just loved what I learnt - Amazzzzzing stuff I could create just by rolling paper strips into different shapes…Beautiful colors got me attracted even more to the craft. During my course and internet research I met and came across many creative minds like REENA- my course instructor at Dimensions, Claire Sunok Choi-paper craft artist, and Yulia Brodskaya-graphic designer/illustrator.
I feel there is still so much to learn and equally a lot to share. I can’t wait to share the projects I have completed and the ones that I am going to work on. A tiny glimpse of my work is below

So for me it was definitely an end with a new beginning

My Stranger...My Father...My Best Friend

A poem written for our Dad...We miss you a lot DAD
I grew up knowing him as the head of the family.
His every word would be followed with utter respect
His every word after much thought would be his final decision
When in need of something
Our cry would pass from mom to him
Although strict and authoritarian at times
He was definitely one tough yet loving stranger.
Afraid of being criticized or punished
We always tried to abide by his words
But then little did we imagine
What would it be to walk in his footsteps…
Time flew by and Mom bid us goodbye
Things changed so did you Dad
You were always there when we needed you
As a girl it’s it is not easy to share certain things with your father
But Dad -With your love you bridged that gap between us
Our Dad is
A man who adored his friends and childhood days
A man who loved his wife and kids dearly
A man that worked hard so that we got the best
A man that just had little to pick from
So that we could have countless to choose
A man who once I found difficult to understand
Today we admire him as God’s precious gift
It broke our hearts to lose you, and a part of us went with you
Even though we cannot see you, we know that you are always by our side
And am happy to say like any proud daughter
That we love
Our Stranger… Our Father…Our Best Friend
